Our Player Development Training is designed for each player’s needs and is based on a curriculum that encompasses all skills and areas of the game. This includes highly customized and focused Fitness and Athletic Development Training for each athlete.

Our tennis professionals have coached some of the best collegiate players across the country as well as some ranked in the professional circuit.

Jean competed for the University of Texas before representing his home country of South Africa in Davis Cup play. Following his playing career, he transitioned into coaching and has spent the past 12 years at TBarM developing players at every level. He is certified by the International Tennis Federation, a USPTA-certified professional, and a USTA High-Performance Coach. Jean has guided nationally and internationally ranked players throughout his career.

Originally from Germany, Leif was ranked as high as No. 3 in Boys’ 14s, earned national titles in both singles and doubles, and reached an ITF ranking of No. 58 in doubles and No. 240 in singles. In college he won a NAIA National Title and two Big West Conference titles, and was a two-time MVP. Leif also competed professionally, reaching an ATP singles ranking of 857. With over 22 years of coaching experience, he has served as an assistant coach at Boise State and Jacksonville University, and has directed programs at La Quinta Resort, LifeTime Tennis, and TBarM, where he is now Academy Co-Director.

Grayson grew up playing varsity for Coppell High School and trained at Brookhaven Country Club. Grayson began his coaching career at Wagon Wheel Tennis Center before joining TBarM in 2018 to lead the Red Ball program. In 2024, he became director of the 10U program, which now includes over 40 players, many of whom began under his coaching.

Brian competed on the professional tour before beginning his coaching career, where he now brings nearly 20 years of experience. He has directed programs and led USTA Player Development camps across the country. Brian has also served as a national leader in managing coaches and career pathways. At TBarM, he facilitates Academy practices and supervises junior programming to ensure the highest training standards.

Born and raised in Dallas, Sydney trained at TBarM Racquet Club while developing into a Top 10 national ranking and as high as No. 250 in the world ITF juniors. She was ranked No. 1 in Texas and among the top recruits in her class before competing for Clemson University and the University of Alabama. Sydney transitioned into coaching to share her passion and firsthand insight working closely with high-performance academy players and developing juniors.

Originally from Brazil, Gustavo was ranked among the Rop 20 juniors nationally before playing Division I tennis at the University of North Alabama, where he earned Freshman of the Year honors and was named University Athlete of the Year in 2019. Gustavo channeled his passion into coaching as a USPTA-certified professional and USTA Development Coach, recognized as TBarM’s 2023 Employee of the Year.

Lexi hails from Wisconsin and was a dominate player in high school a 61-0 singles record and two Division I state championships. She played collegiate tennis at University of Wisconsin, NC State and SMU earning First-Team All-Big Ten honors, AAC All-Conference recognition and NCAA tournament success. Lexi brings her collegiate leadership and competitive experience to her role at T Bar M, where she mentors high-performance players to develop their fundamentals.

Reza joined the TBarM coaching team in 2021 and has since become the lead coach of the Red Ball program. With three years of coaching experience, he has helped develop many young players ages 5–9 into the advanced and academy tracks. Reza holds a Level 1 USPTA certification and is dedicated to improving each player’s technique, skill level, and love for the game.

Doug played for Hardin-Simmons University, where he was part of four ASC Conference Championship teams and earned All-Conference honors twice; later serving as an assistant coach contributing to nationally ranked programs and multiple conference titles. Doug went on to become Head Tennis Pro at Rose Park Tennis Center, developing national-level juniors, collegiate athletes, and state medalists. Over the past 14 years at TBarM, he has coached players ranked as high as top 5 in Texas and top 40 nationally.

We take pride in our players’ preparation and dedication as they compete in tournaments across Texas, the United States, and around the world.
Travel coaching, including support at tournaments, is a top priority for our program. Our Academy Staff Professionals are committed to traveling to major national and international events year-round.


Our Full-Time Program and College Placement support are designed for players aspiring to compete at the collegiate level. Every player who has completed these programs has achieved their goal of playing college tennis.
T Bar M Tennis Academy offers a comprehensive junior program designed to develop players from ages 3 to 18, open to both members and non-members. Our curriculum includes age-appropriate classes such as Future Stars, Red Ball, Orange Ball, and Green Ball, each focusing on fundamental skills and progression. For aspiring competitive players, we provide Launch-Green Ball and Academy programs, culminating in a Full-Time Academy for those aiming for collegiate and professional levels. Our experienced coaching staff, recognized nationally for their expertise, ensures personalized instruction to foster each player's growth and success.

An entry into the sport of tennis for ages 3-5 to work on the fundamentals of tennis and hand-eye control
